and possibly violent
Outshining an imposing
atmosphere of fear
by threading together
senses of dread
being fed
by a profusion
of grueling shoots
and lethal tubers
inducing
wilted pistillates
musky heads
and necrotic stems
then-
dropping reams
of fertile seeds
onto blackening fields
with a vernal inevitability
following dormancy
with a redeeming alchemy...
