Embracing unashamedly
all in the name
of a peaceful oasis
regained after betrayal
A mystically
fortified stultifying hybrid
witty, but not campy
while waiting fir the chance
for sword and fantasy
as long and noisy
like a sort of born-again
Cutting the engine
of lifelong obsession
too young to remember
under our breath
Under the pretense
of due diligence
as sung in select motets
