Not quite farcical offering another gloss
over a salsa and merengue cohort
put off by daring cast calls
to the complete annoyance
of purportedly loyal audiences
Not quite pulling off the tenacity
of a sometime thriller
imbued with youth in a biomusical
like a decisive timeline
for flinty survivors
with strong song styles
in working order
as passions still
underwritten
within an original script
Left uninvestigated since
a wizard-seeking gimmicky
deliberance with a tatted
wisecracking masked man
as the answer to lonely wales
with a backstabbing riot of spangles
And the beat goes on
as uninterrupted thumps
of disruptive percussion
finding the courage
to drum up
life's laments
summed up
punch drunk...
